Our client, an activist and author, needed a larger dedicated home workspace so we turned the old formal dining room into a spacious new office. To further update the layout, the kitchen was expanded to provide more storage and flow into a new casual dining space. We created a beautiful built-in floating bench space adjacent to the kitchen with lots of natural light and direct access to the expansive backyard. The expanded primary suite frames beautiful views towards Mt Diablo. Throughout the house, the careful material brings a sense of depth, luxury and understated elegance.
