A classic San Francisco family home received a refresh, bringing it up to date in style.

This classic San Francisco home had been in our client’s family for over 70 years and was due for a thorough refresh. Particular emphasis was placed on incorporating a contemporary kitchen into the floorplan that was bright, functional, and large enough for family gatherings. Lighter finishes were chosen to draw natural light deeper into the house, and a breakfast area was expanded into the rear yard to gain access to a redesigned sculpture garden. The result is a modern yet timeless space that respects the historic character of the home.
