Our client found a gem of a house
in a wonderful neighborhood in
San Francisco.

However, the home had been neglected for 50+ years, resulting in the house falling down in places and scant natural light. While avoiding a lengthy entitlement process, we did everything else possible to bring new energy into this home, including constructing new foundations and building systems, brightening the space with all new interior finishes and bringing in ample natural light, and adding a brand new 500 square-foot lower level that could access the newly renovated backyard. We incorporated sustainable features throughout the home including Solar PV, battery backup, EV charging, and rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation. The result is a stunning modern home grounded by its original architecture. Teaming up with the talented Interior Design team at Sacramento Street was key to this project’s success.
